Business Transformation Intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Business Transformation Team as a Business Transformation Intern. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on exciting transformation projects and gain valuable experience in the field of business and digital transformation. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering stakeholder requirements for delivering process automations.
• Continuously improv operational data strategy for accuracy, transparency, efficiency, and user experience.
• Assist the design, development, and implementation of process streamlining, simplification and automation.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Document processes and solutions to ensure clear and effective communication. 

Job Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Leadership or a related field.
• Knowledge of RPA concepts and technologies, understanding about developments in AI or predictive analytics is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Technology enthusiast who can source innovative digital ideas/technology. 

This role requires an intern to be self-sufficient (or self-learn) in the digital domain where the business transformation team will help the intern gain an understanding of our business and processes. The successful candidate will receive the opportunity to work with a talented and experienced team hard at work transforming the shipping industry.

Compensation:

This is a 4-month temporary full-time role. Seaspan’s compensation is based on our pay-for-performance philosophy that rewards team members who deliver on and demonstrate our high-performance culture. The compensation range for this position is $21-$23/hr. The exact base pay offered will be commensurate with the incumbent’s experience, job-related skills and knowledge, and internal pay equity.
