POSITION SUMMARY 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing team as an intern. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will play an important role in reviewing product information and production routes to ensure efficient production processes. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry and contribute to the optimization of our production operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Update production routes and picture labels as applicable
  • Conduct time studies and flow observations through work centers
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams 
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline production processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, procurement, and quality assurance.
  • Update routes and picture labels
  • Time studies and flow observations through work centers
  • Building measurements
  • Standardization of documents (standard work, ISO docs, training modules etc.) 
  • CI project help as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management or related field.
    • Prefer Juniors and Seniors 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

The target hourly range is $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid holidays.
