About the Role

What will you do?

    • Conduct MSAs to evaluate the accuracy, precision, and reliability of measurement systems.
    • Conduct process audits to assure the checks and documentation in the production line.
    • Monitor quality performance (Defects per unit, MDRs, scrap) and support to update quality checks and documentation.
    • To participate in automatization projects for process robustness'

    The Quality intern for Switchboards is responsible for ensuring the monitoring to quality performance, follows up to MSAs and ask for actions to be taken in order to improve the process (mech and wiring assembly) in Low Voltage. This role supports Schneider Electric’s commitment to Safety, Customer First, and Sustainability by preventing defects, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

    The position acts as a support between Manufacturing, Engineering, Methods and Quality team to ensure mechanical integrity, reliability, and conformity of switchboard products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support to update the quality checks and documentation.
  • Conduct quality audits to the process in order to ensure the proper implementation of the Quality Fundamentals, work instructions, and quality checkpoints and follow up to the findings.
  • Monitor quality performance at production line.
  • Support the root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical/wiring quality issues (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
  • Drive defect reduction, scrap reduction, and rework elimination initiatives.
  • Support Lean and Quality improvement projects aligned with Schneider Electric performance goals.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Experience time: 0-1 year as quality intern,

    Intermediate english level

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel) and Minitab

    Careers: Industrial, mechatronics, electrical engineering or other similar

  • Be an ACTIVE student
