(Job Summary)
The Turnberry corporate summer internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to gain real-world professional experience with a well-established South Florida company. The program is intended to develop the business leaders of tomorrow. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on meaningful projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other Team Members and fellow interns.
The internship will be in person at our Aventura Mall corporate office beginning in May and ending in August. Interns will work full-time 40 hours per week during the 10-week program.
What You Do:
(Duties/Responsibilities)
The Information Technology Operation Intern (this is a PAID program) will be reporting directly to the IT Team, and will be handling both short-term and summer-long assignments depending on the needs of the Company, which may include:
- Assist in the daily operations of the IT department, including monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Provide technical support to employees, responding to help desk tickets and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Help with the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
- Learn and follow IT security protocols and best practices.
- Participate in IT department meetings and contribute ideas for improving IT operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT leadership.

What You Bring to the Table:
(Requirements)
- Undergraduate or Graduate student with relevant work experience and/or coursework in a related field.
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule over 12 weeks (about 3 months) for internship period starting May.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to Corporate Office.
- Demonstrates dependability when following instructions, responding to management direction, and completing tasks in a timely manner or notifying the appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- Prior internship/work experience within a related field is a plus.
- Strong academic record.
- Relevant coursework or prior experience related to the internship field is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages, as well as familiarity with design software, is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
- Legal eligibility to work in the country where the internship is located.
