Job DetailsJob Location: Easton Headquarter - Easton, PA 18040Position Type: InternshipSalary Range: $19.00 - $25.00 HourlyJob Category: ManufacturingThe manufacturing intern will assist the manufacturing engineering group in the development, planning, implementation, and maintenance of a robust Lean Manufacturing program.  This will include working with other manufacturing departments to document current processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Some of the typical tasks and responsibilities will include: Participation in and contribution to Kaizen events Creation of standard work instructions for manufacturing processes Performance and documentation of time studies on assembly operations Participation in Lean manufacturing exercises Providing assistance in manufacturing engineering and continuous improvement efforts and projects Preferred skills and qualifications include: A Mechanical or Industrial Engineering focus An understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts Excellent verbal and written communication skills Project management and presentation skills Problem identification and solving skills Participate in Kaizen events Create standard work instructions Perform time studies on assembly operations Assist Manufacturing Engineering and Continuous Improvement Efforts Participate in Lean exercise’s Gain real-world experience in lean manufacturing facilityQualificationsCurrently enrolled within an Engineering related college major course of study
