About the Role

PAID ODOT College Intern, Environmental, PN 20056379

What You Will Do: 

  • Assist Environmental Section in the preparation of GIS maps and other types of project related research using online mapping systems.
  • Assist Environmental Section with Ecological Surveys such as Endangered Species surveys, wetlands delineations, stream assessments and Ecological Survey report writing.
  • Assist the Environmental Section with the preparation of Regulated Waste Evaluations/Screenings, Cultural Resources Screenings, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reports, Environmental Justice summaries, Section 4(f) and other Environmental Resource reporting as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of Waterway Permit Determinations and preparation of Permit Determination Requests.

To be eligible, you must be in good academic standing while pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Biology, History, Environmental Law, Environmental Site Assessment (Hazardous Waste Management), and other related Environmental degree program also provide proof of Enrollment Documentation showing a minimum GPA of 2.00.

If operating a state-owned vehicle, must show proof of valid driver's license OR must provide own transportation.
