About the Role

Position Description:

This position is part of a Temple University child psychiatry rotation.  Child psychiatry fellows participate in psychiatric evaluations with an attending physician, write up the reports for review, participate in supervision with an attending physician, and may provide services without an attending physician present under certain circumstances.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

•Skill in building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, including funders, partners, community members, and government agencies, to foster collaboration, leverage resources, and advance organizational goals.

•Ability to navigate organizational change, lead change initiatives, and engage staff in the change process to promote buy-in, resilience, and adaptability in response to internal and external changes.

•Proficiency in conflict resolution techniques, mediation, and negotiation skills to address conflicts and interpersonal issues among staff members, program participants, and stakeholders in a constructive and respectful manner.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Medical degree and active PA medical license. 
  • Must be a current student in the Temple University psychiatry program, designated for rotation with Merakey Children's Services.
