About the Role

Cadence is seeking motivated engineering students for Summer Internship opportunities at one of our eight U.S. locations, including Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and Staunton, Virginia. This program provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects in a professional manufacturing and engineering environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with design, testing, analysis, and project development

  • Conduct research, data collection, and basic engineering calculations

  • Support technical documentation and reporting

  • Participate in team meetings and design reviews

  • Follow safety and quality standards

  • Communicate progress and complete assignments on schedule

Internship focus areas may vary by site and engineering discipline.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • Rising junior or senior preferred

  • Strong academic performance

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to CAD or engineering software a plus

Additional Information

  • Positions available at multiple Cadence facilities (including WI and VA)

  • Combination of office and manufacturing floor exposure

  • Paid, non-exempt internship
