Role Description: 

As a People Operations Intern, you’ll support the operational foundation of our People Ops function, gaining hands-on exposure to HR processes, systems, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. You’ll work closely with the Head of People and People Operations Manager, while partnering with cross-functional teams to help ensure Constellation’s people operations and culture continue to scale thoughtfully as the company grows. You’ll also play a key role in helping make our NYC office an energizing, connected, and welcoming environment. 

What You’ll Learn: 

  • Support recruiting by scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist with onboarding, including preparing materials and coordinating new hire logistics.
  • Maintain HR documentation and employee records while gaining hands-on experience with HRIS platforms.
  • Help update and maintain job descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with team needs.
  • Support People Operations initiatives and ad hoc programs that drive company culture and efficiency.
  • Assist with employee engagement programs, internal communications, and team check-ins.
  • Help analyze employee engagement survey data and contribute to HR process improvements.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • A Confident Communicator: Articulate, professional, and comfortable interacting with employees at all levels; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly Organized & Detail-Focused: Exceptionally organized with a strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy, especially when handling confidential information
  • Discreet and Ethical: Demonstrates sound judgment and a high level of integrity when working with sensitive employee and company data
  • A Team Player: Collaborative, positive, and energized by contributing to a supportive, fast-paced team environment

This is a full-time, 40-hour/week internship running 10 weeks from June 9 to August 13, with a hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday–Thursday, 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and remote on Monday and Friday.

Compensation: $20–$30 per hour
