About the Role
Overview
This internship focuses on software, workflow, and validation support for CMOS image sensor characterization. The intern will contribute to improving the robustness, consistency, and scalability of characterization workflows used across multiple projects.
Depending on background and interests, the intern may work in one or more of the following areas: characterization infrastructure, validation and completeness checks, and analysis and documentation of characterization methods.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support tooling and workflows used for CMOS image sensor characterization
  • Assist with improving consistency and reuse across characterization projects
  • Contribute to validation and sanity-check mechanisms for characterization scripts and configurations
  • Analyze and document characterization workflows, assumptions, and results
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve clarity and robustness of existing methods
 
Requirements:
  • Background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or related fields
  • Interest in CMOS image sensors, imaging systems, or hardware–software interaction
  • Experience with programming or scripting (e.g. Python or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
