About the Role

Inbank is a financial technology company with an EU banking license that connects merchants, consumers, and financial institutions on its next-generation embedded finance platform. Our financing solutions are embedded seamlessly into the shopping journey of 6,000+ retailers. This helps our merchant partners grow their businesses, while end customers benefit from a frictionless shopping experience wherever they are. With a focus on innovation and growth, we are looking for talented people to join our team of 440+ working across our offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Czech Republic.

We’re now looking for a data-driven and curious Credit Risk Analytics Intern to support our first-line credit risk activities. This is a unique opportunity to work with real-world credit decisioning data and see exactly how advanced analytics drives the daily operations of a modern digital bank.

What will you be doing?

  • Working on credit risk tasks tailored to your strengths—whether it’s deep-dive data exploration or building robust monitoring tools.
  • Contributing to the development of Tableau dashboards and tracking KPIs to keep our risk management on point.
  • Analyzing datasets and external data sources to identify trends, anomalies, and potential data quality issues.
  • Documenting your findings and communicating complex results clearly to the team to support strategic decision-making.

Ideally, you have:

  • At least intermediate SQL skills—you are comfortable joining multiple tables and navigating databases.
  • Experience with Tableau/BI reporting or a flair for data analysis using Excel, Python, or R.
  • You don’t just see numbers; you see patterns. You have a high attention to detail and a natural ability to draw logical conclusions.
  • The ability to document your work and present results clearly in both written and visual forms.
  • Fluent written and spoken English (as we work in an international setup).
  • Relevant studies (Finance, Econometrics, Math, Data Science) or equivalent practical projects are a big plus.

Our offer to you:

  • An opportunity to learn from a diverse group of people who excel at what they do.
  • A paid internship from June to August with the salary of  €780.
  • A personal mentor — an experienced professional you can always reach out to.
  • Opportunities to expand your professional network and take part in events for our interns.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience, work on impactful initiatives, and grow professionally. Ready to kick-start your career? Apply now!
