About the Role

Description

As an Accounting Intern, this role will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to general accounting and other ad hoc duties as assigned. Daily interaction will be required with internal and external clients and customers in order to meet the demands of our business needs. This is a part time position, flexible with school schedule.


Essential Job Duties Include

  • Completing various Accounts Payable duties such as processing statements and servicing and researching A/P calls.
  • Scanning, organizing, and saving transaction documents into the appropriate electronic spaces to ensure accurate and accessible recordkeeping.
  • Assisting with customer accounts receivable statements
  • Completing a variety of other general duties that primarily support A/P and A/R within the organization.
  • Communicating effectively by phone, email, and other forms of company communication while maintaining a positive and professional image.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, email platforms, etc.)
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
  • The ability to problem solve in a timely manner


Preferred Qualifications

· Completion of at least three years of college coursework

· Major in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
