About the Role

SGGG Fund Services Inc. is looking for a tech-savvy, motivated and detail-oriented Talent Coordinator (Co-op) to join our Human Resources team. This 8–18 month contract is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, award-winning workplace that values collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

 

Reporting to the HR Specialist, the Talent Coordinator will play a key role in supporting full-cycle recruitment and various stages of the employee experience. This brand-new internship-level position is ideal for someone with a background in HR, recruitment, administration, and who thrives in a team-oriented, service-driven environment.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

  • Recruitment Marketing – Post and maintain jobs internally and externally, develop and maintain relationships with Employment Ontario partners
  • Monitor and action: Resume inbox, LinkedIn and Indeed.com (Dayforce ATS)
  • Full cycle recruitment and selection support 
  • Administer candidate testing using Power Automate, Excel, etc…
  • Onboarding support
  • Maintain compliance with Federal and Provincial regulations concerning employment and uphold privacy legislation
  • Engagement and retention initiatives, events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications


Required

  • Pursuing or completed a post-secondary degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 6 to 12 months experience in an administrative role
  • Strong time management, organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in use of all Microsoft 365 products
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Open minded and willing to learn new things
  • Proactive and accountable nature with good follow-through
  • Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

 

Assets

  • Recruitment or other HR experience
  • Dayforce or other people management software (HRIS) experience
  • Event coordination skills
