IT Infrastructure Intern

Description

The IT Infrastructure internship is part of a ten-week summer professional internship program. The program will consist of a focused project aligned to core infrastructure and operations initiatives, working closely with IT Operations leaders who will mentor you throughout the experience. The program includes a number of personal and professional development opportunities.

As part of this internship, not only will you be part of projects that are impactful to the organization, you will also gain hands-on experience with the following technologies and disciplines:

• Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint)
• Windows Server
• Active Directory & Group Policy
• Virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V)
• PowerShell automation
• Backup and Disaster Recovery concepts
• Monitoring and alerting tools
• IT Service Management (ITSM) processes

Requirements

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or other related majors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interest in infrastructure, cloud technologies, and IT operations
• Passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Students with a sophomore classification or above in Spring 2026
• Available for full-time work from May to August 2026 with potential continued internship opportunities
