About the Role

Job overview:   

Schneider is seeking a Software Engineer Intern in Green Bay, WI to perform single function tasks that are small to moderate in size and complexity. The Software Engineer Intern will analyze, design, develop and maintain program code and applications that support business processes and functions. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Design, code, test, debug, implement, document and support system solutions. 
  • Develop project design requirements that promote reuse, flexibility, scalability and security. 
  • Support the resolution of deployment, warranty and post-warranty issues and defects. 
  • Handle domain-related design and solution problems.

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university.
  • Working toward a bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
  • Able to work full-time over the summer.
  • Experience with Java-based software development and Spring Boot framework.
  • Basic knowledge of system design and development.
