  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable correspondence.
  • Provide support for daily purchasing operations, including stakeholder engagement, purchase order management, vendor quote solicitation, and pricing analysis.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the purchasing portal and expenditure tracking databases.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of vendor records and provide support for the onboarding process of new vendors, including verification of account information and electronic payment details.
  • Assist Travel team with organizing travel request forms and ensuring required approvals are obtained.
  • Support submission and tracking of travel-related receipts and reimbursements in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist in other areas of month-end close.
  • Prepare GST/HST, PST, value-added tax, and various other sales and use tax returns on a timely basis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support automation or documentation initiatives.
  • Act as a key organizing member of the Finance & Accounting team’s social functions, including organizing our summer rooftop BBQ and other events during the summer months.
  • Assist the Controller with ad-hoc projects and tasks within the Finance & Accounting team as needed.

About you:

  • Current post-secondary student pursuing a business degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
