POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Design Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in advancing process design and optimization initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience working on real-world engineering documentation, equipment evaluation, and technical validation activities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Digitize and revise redline documents, including:
    • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
    • Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
    • Mechanical drawings
  • Research and compare equipment vendor packages and process technologies to support design decisions
  • Assist in validating and verifying process design elements and technical requirements
  • Perform calculation checks and basic modeling to support process design work
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure documentation accuracy and consistency

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of study in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field by the start of the internship
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with process design principles and engineering documentation
  • Experience with Aspen Plus (Aspen+) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical documentation tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

 

COMPENSATION:

The hourly range for this internship is $25.00 - $30.00.
