Role description:

This role will sit in our global business area, Mobility. We partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today’s mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world’s growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.

Role accountabilities:

  • Undertake simple design tasks, modelling works.  
  • Able to work on straightforward tasks under appropriate supervision.  
  • Able to produce sketches for communicating with BIM Or Engineering team to convey the basic understanding of the design.  
  • Actively participate and learn the Design tools / Codes / Standards.
  • Understand and adhere to the Arcadis Quality Management System and working culture.
  • Undertake quality check of the produced analytical models, design and drawings.
  • Participate in Knowledge sharing sessions, work with others to enhance knowledge and insights.
  • Proactively collaborate with peers, managers, and various stakeholders. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering  
  • Knowledge in fundamentals of structural engineering and structural behaviour.  
  • Familiarity on at least one out of Software Application like STAAD, MIDAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, ROBOT.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint)  
  • Familiarity with local country and/or international Design codes (a plus).
  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing, fluency in English (a plus).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude towards Health & Safety.
  • Show due regard for the environment and for the sustainable management of natural resources.
  • Able to quickly understand and adapt to design standards.
  • Eagerness to learn and ability to work well in team environment
  • Manage program (task) timelines, budget, and H&S for all the projects.
