Job Purpose/Summary:
One (1) intern will be selected to participate with the External and Legal Affairs Department’s Communications and Marketing Department that comprises of, among other things, experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional setting. This intern will be provided the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in various professional fields they are considering for career paths, and will also provide the company the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent. This program is also intended to assist students in reaching their educational goals by giving them the opportunity to augment classroom instruction with exposure to the “real world” employment setting.
Overview:
- Time Frame: begin mid-May 2026 and end mid-August 2026 (no more than 90 days duration)
- Pay: All internships are paid positions ($20/hour).
- Benefits: Intern selected will receive direct access and guidance from seasoned sales professionals and opportunities to inter-act with various business units within the Company. Free parking on site.
- Intern Qualifications: the individual is enrolled and completed the second year of an accredited post-secondary institution[1];
- Strong work ethic
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Overall GPA of at least 3.0
- Preference for students who have completed marketing, supply chain and logistics and/or transportation related studies. Basic understanding of corporate organizational documents and could work inside and outside of an office setting.
- Schedule: Schedule will be determined by Intern and the Marketing & Communications Manager at the beginning of the program.

Working Conditions:
Work is mostly performed in a normal office environment. May be required to work more than a normal work week, including weekends. Travel may also be required. Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement.
Physical/Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands or fingers; handle or feel; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to move between buildings, ascend/descend stairs, access vessels, and go outdoors in all kinds of weather. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The workday usually has a high number of interruptions and priority changes necessitating the need to remain flexible and focused in order to accomplish tasks.
