About the Role
Arkansas - Production Intern

Reports To: Area Manager
Direct Reports: N/A
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Employment Type: Full Time

Position Overview:
The Production Intern will assist the Area Managers with their daily responsibilities. This can include TCM, developing training resources, etc. They will complete one project they choose with the assistance of the Area Managers.  The project will consist of a final report out to the NSA-Arkansas management team. 

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assist Area Managers with daily reporting 
  • Help develop training resources for Area Managers 
  • Other duties as assigned
Non-Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop managerial skills working with Area Managers
  • Help move work on the production floor
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing experience 
  • Operations Management or Industrial Engineering background
  • Overall GPA 3.0 or better
Key Competencies:
  • Project management 
  • Strong computer skills 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Able to work well independently as well as with a team
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit or stand for a duration of the day and walk frequently. Able to lift 40lbs.

Working Conditions: Production environment with constant background noise and fast paced.
