Civil Engineer Intern

Aurora Technical Services, LLC is a technically driven professional civil consulting firm providing design and management services to clients mostly in the Texas region for infrastructure, water, wastewater, storm, sanitary sewer, drainage, and roadway projects. We are currently seeking enrolled Civil and Mechanical engineering students in their Junior or Senior year who are detail-oriented and self-motivated to support our growing team!

Responsibilities:

•  Work as part of a team, under the supervision of a Team Lead or Project Manager.
• Conduct engineering calculations, evaluations, and studies.
• Prepare layouts and drafting of engineering designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist in developing specifications and technical reports.
• Assist in collecting data and research utility records.
• Assist in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and survey data.
• Perform limited field engineering tasks, including site observations, verification of contractor's adherence to design documents, and development of field modifications.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled Junior or Senior in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• 0-1 years of work-related experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with strong capability to work independently.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
