About the team you are joining
IATA
is the trade association for the world’s airlines, representing over 320
airlines across 120 countries. Our members comprise 83% of total air traffic. IATA’s mission is to represent, lead,
and serve the airline industry. IATA operates over 50 offices and 7
regional offices across the world.
We
are embarking on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The
BORA (meaning “better” in Swahili) program aims at delivering a new ERP
solution for IATA that will enable Corporate Services to deliver on their
fiduciary responsibilities as well as deliver more value to the business.
This position will support the BORA
Transformation Project team.
What your day would be like
Support the mapping of current‑state and future‑state business processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with BORA standards.
Participate in workshops with business stakeholders to capture process steps, data flows, and system interactions.
Maintain and update process documentation using standard templates and modelling tools.
Assist in validating process maps with stakeholders and collaborating across the People, Process, and Systems pillars.
Provide general project support, including preparing materials for reviews, governance discussions, and continuous‑improvement activities.

You are a recent university graduate (within 1 year) in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
You have strong analytical and communication skills and enjoy creating clear, well‑structured documentation and materials.
You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
You are curious, proactive, and comfortable questioning existing processes to support continuous improvement.
You are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with process‑mapping tools is an advantage.
Experience or interest in process design, continuous improvement, or digital transformation would be beneficial.
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
