  • Gain hands-on, real-world experience within a leading industry, working on meaningful projects that contribute to day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives
  • Volunteer to assist with company events such as the Family Picnic, Employee Summit, Manufacturing Technology Summer Camp, and other events as needed.
  • Complete a final presentation outlining their internship experience, which may be presented to their direct supervisor and colleagues.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Join us for an exciting summer!  We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Technical Services team as a Technical Content Writing intern.

 

As a Technical Content Writing intern, you will be exposed to hands-on process documentation, operational analysis, and employee engagement initiatives within a support organization. This role offers the opportunity to help standardize workflows, research industry best practices, and support data-driven improvements that enhance both employee performance and customer experience.

 

In this role, you will assist with documenting and formalizing support processes, researching industry standards, and identifying opportunities to improve employee engagement and performance reporting. You will work closely with the support team to help develop clear procedures, knowledge documentation, and coaching frameworks that support consistent, high-quality service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with formalizing and documenting departmental support processes and procedures
  • Research industry standards and compare best practices to current support workflows
  • Support the development and documentation of processes to improve employee engagement in after-call surveys
  • Assist with documenting processes for creating and maintaining Knowledge Articles within OneCRM
  • Support the formalization of performance reporting, fact-based coaching, and training processes
  • Conduct research and assist with special projects related to support operations and continuous improvement

 

Internship Goals:

  • Develop technical writing and documentation skills
  • Gain experience with employee performance metrics and reporting frameworks
  • Learn process design and improvement methodologies
  • Strengthen process writing and standardization skills
  • Explore marketing and engagement programs that support sales growth
