Join our dynamic IT team as a Junior IT Admin Intern! Reporting to the Manager of IT Operations, you’ll play a key role in supporting our employees and maintaining our technology infrastructure. This position is being hired on a temporary basis, beginning April 1, with the potential to transition to a regular full-time role based on performance and business needs. You’ll gain hands-on experience with exciting projects, opportunities to build and improve solutions, and a chance to shape the future of our company’s technology. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, and systems;
  • Assist in managing Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and Citrix environments;
  • Support and maintain laptops, desktops, Wyse terminals, printers, and other IT equipment;
  • Contribute to IT projects, including deploying new solutions and enhancing existing systems;
  • Participate in training sessions to develop skills and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for collaborating effectively;
  • Self-motivated and curious, with a desire to grow your IT expertise;
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining professionalism in all interactions;
  • Organized and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities;
  • Basic experience or familiarity with the following is a plus (but not required):
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, or DHCP;
  • Microsoft SQL, VMware, or Citrix;
  • PowerShell, Linux, or command-line tools;
  • Networking concepts or Cisco hardware;

Education

  • Completed a certificate or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
