About the Role

Purpose of the Job

We're seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Group Strategy and Development team in Hong Kong. In this role, interns will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leaders, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to projects that have a direct impact on the Group’s growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Support the GSD team driving cross-functional special projects, including:
    • Conducting market research and analyses for potential M&A targets
    • Supporting due diligence processes for ongoing transactions
    • Helping with the development and structuring of commercial partnership proposals as well as business planning
    • Solving various strategic problems across the Group
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with stakeholders from both within and outside of the Group
  • Carry out research and analyses on business-relevant topics, such as industry trends, competitor analysis, and market sizing
  • Support the creation of executive-level materials, including presentations and briefings

Requirements

  • Strong curiosity for corporate strategy and existing commercial sense, with a demonstrated interest in business and finance
  • Ability to think independently and prioritize workstreams under competing timelines, with a strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear and concise language
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data analysis and visualization
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with at least 6 semesters completed (all majors accepted) or pursuing a postgraduate degree
  • Prior internship experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, investment management, or corporate development is highly desirable, but not required
  • Full professional fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese as well as German is a significant plus, but not mandatory
  • Candidates must be available to commit to a 6-month full-time internship at our Hong Kong office – please ensure you can meet this requirement before applying
