Program Overview

The Showroom Summer Intern will support the Showroom and Merchandising team through showroom refresh initiatives, inventory catalog development, and digital merchandising projects. This internship offers a hands-on mentorship opportunity where the selected candidate will gain practical experience in showroom strategy, product presentation, and customer selection processes within a corporate environment.  This internship is structured as a project-based experience to be completed within the 12-week program.  This position is located at the Dallas Corporate office and is an onsite internship opportunity. This is not a remote role.  The selected intern will present project outcomes at our annual Intern Expo Day on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.


Program Details

Program Dates: Monday, May 18, 2026 – Friday, August 7, 2026
Length: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Full-time, hourly
Required: Must be available for the full program duration and attend/present at Intern Expo Day


Project Scope & Responsibilities

The Showroom Summer Intern will support the following initiatives:

Showroom Design & Refresh Support

Assist in designing showroom refreshes and supporting new showroom development initiatives

Support visual merchandising updates to enhance customer presentation and flow

Partner with showroom leadership to evaluate layout effectiveness and product visibility


Merchandise Inventory & Catalog Development

Assist in building and organizing a comprehensive merchandise inventory catalog

Support documentation and tracking of product samples and displays

Help ensure showroom materials are organized, updated, and accessible to the sales team


Digital Showroom & Labeling Initiative

Assist in developing a digital, web-based showroom labeling program

Support standardization of labeling formats and processes

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate product representation


Selection Center Development

Support the creation and organization of an in-house selection center for showroom teams

Assist in organizing sample boards and materials for customer selections

Develop an organized structure that improves efficiency for showroom representatives


Project Impact

A successful internship will:

Support the modernization and organization of showroom assets

Create a structured merchandise inventory system

Contribute to a scalable digital labeling process

Improve selection efficiency for showroom sales teams

Deliver a measurable, presentation-ready project at Intern Expo


Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Merchandising, or related field

Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills

Ability to manage multiple projects in a structured environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with digital platforms or design tools is a plus

Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate cross-functionally
