The Sales Service Center Summer Intern will support Sales and Operations leadership in driving online order adoption, showroom growth, and operational alignment between service center locations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales strategy, customer engagement, and process improvement within a branch-level environment.  This internship is structured as a project-based experience to be completed within the 12-week program.  This position is located onsite in Derry, NH and is not a remote opportunity.

The selected intern will present project outcomes at our annual Intern Expo Day on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.


Program Details

Program Dates: Monday, May 18, 2026 – Friday, August 7, 2026
Length: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Full-time, hourly
Required: Must be available for the full program duration and attend/present at Intern Expo Day


Project Scope & Responsibilities

Online Order Conversion Growth

Market and promote online ordering platforms including Pro Exchange and B2B

Drive adoption of automated online ordering across all six New England SSC locations

Develop tracking and reporting methods to measure online order growth

Partner with SSC leadership to identify barriers to adoption and recommend solutions


Showroom Traffic & Specification Growth

Assist in growing SSC277 showroom traffic and specification activity

Support outreach efforts to increase customer engagement and showroom utilization

Track performance metrics related to showroom visits and specification volume


Operational Streamlining Between Locations

Assist in improving coordination between SSC277 in Derry, NH and DDC255

Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements

Support cross-location communication and customer routing processes


Project Impact

A successful internship will:

Increase total online order adoption across the New England SSC network

Support measurable growth in showroom traffic and specifications at SSC277

Improve operational coordination between SSC277 and DDC255

Deliver quantifiable business results for presentation at Intern Expo


Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field

Strong communication and customer engagement skills

Comfortable discussing digital ordering platforms with customers

Analytical mindset with ability to track performance metrics

Strong organizational and follow-up skills

Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced service center environment
