The Immigration & Global Mobility Summer Intern will support the Global Mobility team in managing international assignments, permanent transfers, and business travel initiatives. This internship focuses on optimizing global talent mobility processes, enhancing the employee relocation experience, and preparing systems for improved data governance. The intern will contribute to a high-impact project titled: Global Talent Mobility Optimization & Experience Mapping  This internship is structured as a project-based experience to be completed within the 12-week program.  This position is located at the Dallas Corporate office and is an onsite internship opportunity. This is not a remote role.

The selected intern will present project outcomes at our annual Intern Expo Day on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.


Program Details

Program Dates: Monday, May 18, 2026 – Friday, August 7, 2026
Length: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Full-time, hourly
Required: Must be available for the full program duration and attend/present at Intern Expo Day


Project Scope & Responsibilities

The Immigration & Global Mobility Intern will support the following initiatives:

Data Audit & System Migration Preparation

Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing relocation files to clean and standardize data

Review and organize move types, tax status classifications, and spend categories

Prepare documentation in support of the Global Mobility System (GMS) implementation

Identify data inconsistencies and recommend improvements for long-term system accuracy


Journey Mapping & Content Creation

Develop a digital "Expat First-Day" and "Foreign National Hire" welcome kit

Create interactive arrival checklists to enhance employee onboarding experience

Support the transition from a transactional relocation process to a high-touch Journey Ambassador model

Enhance communication touchpoints throughout the relocation lifecycle


Stakeholder Analysis & Reporting

Synthesize monthly vendor performance data

Consolidate "Pizza Tracking" immigration status updates into a centralized dashboard

Support development of reporting tools for HRBPs

Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements


Cross-Functional & Vendor Collaboration

Partner with internal stakeholders including HR, Payroll, and Legal

Coordinate with external vendors such as relocation management companies and immigration counsel

Support seamless transitions for relocating employees


Project Impact

A successful internship will:

Improve data accuracy and readiness for GMS implementation

Enhance relocating employee experience through structured journey mapping

Increase transparency for HRBPs through dashboard reporting

Streamline coordination between internal stakeholders and external vendors

Deliver measurable process improvements for presentation at Intern Expo


Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, International Studies, Communications, or related field

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Comfortable working with data audits and documentation

Strong written communication skills for content development

Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information responsibly

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred to support communication with relocating employees

Interest in global mobility, immigration processes, or international workforce management
