About the Role

About this role 
Are you curious about how AI can make work better for people? Join Transcarent as an AI-focused People & Culture / People Solutions Intern, where you’ll help us design smarter, more human-centered HR experiences. You’ll support AI-driven projects that improve our overall employee experience. You’ll be part of both the People & Culture Team and the People Solutions team, working at the intersection of HR, analytics, and AI. 
 
What you’ll get to do: 

  • Support AI-focused projects that improve how teammates access HR, benefits, and company knowledge 
  • Help design and test AI-powered onboarding and self-service experiences for employees and managers 
  • Assist with organizing and structuring internal knowledge so it’s easy for AI tools (and humans!) to use 
  • Partner with People & Culture and People Solutions on people analytics and insights to better understand engagement and turnover drivers 
  • Work on projects that impact the business and contribute to Transcarent’s mission of better health and care

  • Are excited about AI tools and curious about how they can improve the employee experience 
  • Are located in Chicago and are able to work from our Chicago office location on a hybrid-based schedule  
  • Are able to dedicate 40-hours a week for a duration of 12 weeks throughout the summer  
  • Enjoy turning information into clear, organized content and processes  
  • Like digging into patterns and data to tell a story or recommend next steps 
  • Want hands-on experience working with a People & Culture team on high-impact, real-world projects 
  • Have a passion for healthcare and is inquisitive about the various ways we can improve the delivery of health and care. 

As a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL , the hourly pay for this position is:

$21.00/hour

Total Rewards 

Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal equity.  

Salary is just one component of Transcarent's total package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock options.
