Job Description:

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator Intern at MPS, your primary responsibility will be to support the talent acquisition team and will have an opportunity to engage in a variety of talent activities. The ideal candidate will have experience or a desire to learn about scheduling and maintaining complex interview schedules with global teams, event coordination, and talent sourcing in a fast-paced environment.

This position will be a temporary position over the summer with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time and is a fully on-site position.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule complex interviews for candidates and interviewers across different time zones. Including booking meeting rooms, managing video links (MS Teams) and maintaining flexibility to make last-minute adjustments as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining interview records and ensuring candidates have applied for the position and feedback is submitted from interviewers in Workday.
  • Provide the highest quality of customer service and effective communication to managers, employees, and candidates.
  • Lead event coordination and employee engagement, primarily for Summer Interns.
  • Handle logistics for college recruiting events, including registration, attendance lists, and ordering/shipping recruiting material and swag.
  • Assist the talent acquisition team in sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter.

Qualifications:

  • Pursing Bachelor’s or MS Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related.
  • Previous internship or work experience in HR Generalist, Recruiting Coordinator, events coordinator, Talent Sourcing or related field desired.
  • Experience within the Semiconductor or tech Industry is a plus.
  • General knowledge of HR functions including comp&benefits, HR operations, recruiting etc.
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably experience with Workday.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to hand sensitive and confidential information with high integrity.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task with strong attention to detail

Location:

San Jose, CA

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The hourly pay range for this position in California is $25.00/hr - $28.00/hr.
