About the Role

Montecito Bank & Trust is offering a paid, part-time Organizational Learning Internship in our Organizational Learning (OL) department. As an Organizational Learning Intern, you will deliver a World Class Experience by supporting OL team members as well as other Bank departments. You will work in a fast-paced environment and work on projects related to associate training, e-Learning content and adoption, associate development plans, and utilizing training data. You will be located in Santa Barbara, CA with a fully on-site work schedule.

What We’re Looking For

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of College/University coursework preferred; most relevant coursework may include business, communications, psychology, or organizational development.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong analytical capabilities (familiarity with data, data integrity, and report creation).
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to teach/train others.

Your Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Organizational Learning Manager, the essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing new e-Learning content and LinkedIn Learning adoption and engagement 
  • Creating onboarding, check-in, and development plans
  • Supporting goal setting and annual reviews
  • Assisting with the OL Newsletter content
  • Assessing on the job training checklists
  • Updating training criticality data (turnover rate, time to fill position, available training, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Internship Schedule

  • Internship program will run from May/June 2026 through August/September 2026 (flexible depending on school schedule or other job obligations).
  • The position will be on-site up to 30 hours per week, with no ability to work remote, for up to 12 weeks.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00.
