Since 1960, the Denver Broncos have grown into a team that is followed by legions of fans throughout the Rocky Mountain region, United States and the world. An original franchise of the American Football League, the club reached the National Football League's pinnacle by capturing its first World Championship by virtue of a 31-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII. Job Summary: The Denver Broncos Mascot Intern position provides operational and administrative support to the Denver Broncos Mascot, including Mascot Handler, Backup Mascot duties, School Show Host and Social Media capture.  The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Duration: This is a seasonal internship running May/June 2026 through February 2027 (exact start date to be determined).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Helping plan, coordinate and execute the Miles School Program calendar of events
  • Learning to perform as Miles at select events such as School show and as a backup as needed
  • Being a handler for Miles at 300+ appearances
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and billing of Miles appearances
  • Fan Correspondence, sending autographed Miles autographed cards to letter writers
  • Ideating Miles social media content and assisting in the content capture
  • Assist in the marketing and promotion of brand talent, including Miles the Mascot, Denver Broncos Cheer, and Stampede
  • Assist with scheduling and organizing community appearances, school visits, and outreach events for brand talent

Minimum Requirements

  • Resume
  • Having at least 2 years of mascot experience.  College or Minor League preferred
  • Minimum 2 minute highlight reel of in costume performances
  • Must be between 5’9” and 6’, athletic build
  • An in-costume audition will be required for application finalists
  • Ability to work all regular season and postseason home Broncos games, nights/weekends and keep a flexible schedule
  • Valid Driver's License

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $19.29/hour.
