Since 1960, the Denver Broncos have grown into a team that is followed by legions of fans throughout the Rocky Mountain region, United States and the world. An original franchise of the American Football League, the club reached the National Football League's pinnacle by capturing its first World Championship by virtue of a 31-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXII. Job Summary: This position will assist the public relations department in publicity related to the Denver Broncos’ communications efforts throughout training camp

Duration: This is a summer internship running July 2026 through September 2026 (exact dates to be determined).

Duties & Responsibilities

Media Relations & Communications Support:

  • Assist with daily media operations during training camp practices and press conferences
  • Help prepare and distribute press materials, media notes, and practice schedules
  • Support credentialed media with logistics, access, and information requests 

Media Hospitality & Logistics:

  • Maintain a professional & organized media workroom & press areas
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of media spaces 
  • Track attendance and manage media check-ins as needed
  • Ensure compliance with NFL and team media policies 

Ensure timely distribution of football communications to external media by:

  • Recording and transcribing players, coaches and executives during media availabilities
  • Support communications staff with administrative and organizational tasks 

Be present and engaged during key dates

  • Working Broncos home preseason games
  • Attending all training camp sessions

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university degree in public relations, journalism or a communications-related field
  • Ability to work flexible/long hours (early mornings & weekends)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Experience transcribing quotes
  • Knowledge of football statistics 

Preferred Skills & Ability 

  • Strong writing skills and understanding of AP Style
  • Reliable transportation
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail and capacity to thrive in pressure situations 

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $19.29/hour.
