Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

The DevOps Automation Engineer Intern will assist in supporting cloud security and operations initiatives, maintaining cloud infrastructure visibility, and contributing to automation efforts while gaining valuable exposure to enterprise cloud and DevOps environments. This role also provides the opportunity to contribute to live cloud projects and support continuous improvement initiatives across Cloud Operations and Security functions.
 

What are you accountable for?

• Assist in Vulnerability Management tracking, ensuring identified risks are monitored, updated, and properly documented.
• Support AWS resource discovery and inventory creation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date cloud asset records.
• Contribute to Cloud Security Compliance monitoring, helping ensure configurations align with internal standards and best practices.
• Provide support for Cloud Operations activities, including basic monitoring, issue tracking, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in Cost Optimization and FinOps analysis, tracking cloud usage data and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Prepare summary reports and simple dashboards to provide visibility on security posture, operational performance, and cloud spending.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure data accuracy and version control across cloud trackers and repositories.

Value-Add Project

Support the development of CI/CD DevOps automation leveraging AI/GenAI technologies, contributing to improved deployment efficiency, enhanced security validation, and smarter operational workflows within the cloud environment.

Who are we looking for?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical fields.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing and DevOps concepts (AWS knowledge is an advantage).
• Familiarity with scripting, automation tools, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment.

• Internship duration: 3 – 6 months.
