Overview
Under close supervision, performs routine tasks requiring knowledge of fundamental engineering, mathematical and construction concepts. Provides support to engineers, CADD supervisor, or project team in the preparation of HVAC and plumbing system design and sizing. This is a part-time, non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Assist with fundamental project tasks such as basic design calculations, system layout and sizing for HVAC and plumbing.
- Assists with construction phase services as directed by project engineer.
- Assists with checking engineering calculations.
- Assists in maintaining the technical library.
- Proficient in the use of computers, computer aided design and other relevant software and hardware tools.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Student status in Mechanical Engineering or an appropriate related discipline at an accredited college or university.
