About the Role

Position Summary:
 KMEC is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to support engineers and technical staff in the design, analysis, and execution of mechanical and structural projects. This role provides hands-on experience in engineering operations, field support, and project documentation within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineers with system design, drafting, and technical calculations
  • Support project documentation, submittals, and bill of materials
  • Participate in site visits, inspections, and field data collection
  • Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution
  • Perform research and analysis to support engineering decisions

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CAD software preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and organizational abilities

This internship offers practical experience, mentorship from experienced engineers, and exposure to real-world industrial engineering projects.

Applicants must be able to complete the internship in person at one of our locations.
