About the Role

Are you looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in the steel pipe manufacturing industry? As a Borusan Berg Pipe Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop technical skills in a real-world industrial setting.

For the 2026 summer season, we are seeking an intern to join our Quality Department:

This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience while allowing you to contribute to our team’s success.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Quality Department with materials testing, metallurgical evaluation, and laboratory process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and documenting standardized procedures for material sample preparation, microstructural evaluation, and data management.
  • Conduct analysis of material characteristics and contribute to investigations relating structure to mechanical performance.
  • Collaborate with laboratory technicians and quality personnel to evaluate and improve testing and sample preparation workflows.
  • Participate in reviewing quality processes, documentation practices, and traceability methods to identify gaps and recommend practical improvements.
  • Support internal quality initiatives by organizing data, analyzing trends, and assisting with audit-related documentation and reporting.
  • Prepare technical summaries, reports, or presentations outlining findings and recommendations.  

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic foundation in materials characterization, metallurgy, or manufacturing processes.
  • Interest in laboratory testing, quality systems, and industrial process improvement.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical data and identify trends.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with laboratory equipment, microscopy, or CAD/software tools is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly in written and verbal formats.
