About The Company
As a 25-bed, critical access not-for-profit hospital, Miller County Hospital has been serving Colquitt, Georgia residents since 1957. Named "Hospital of the Year" in 2000 and 2015 by HomeTown Health, Miller offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services to the residents of Colquitt and surrounding areas. Always on the move, our facility features an recently remodeled Emergency Department and lab, among other updated areas. In addition to our hospital services, HAMC provides the following: *Traditional Nursing Home Care and Long-Term Ventilator and/or Dialysis Care: Miller Nursing Home is a Medicare and Medicaid approved 157 bed licensed long-term care facility with a dedicated 100-bed ventilator-dialysis unit. The facility shares a campus with our hospital - and that means residents have immediate access to diagnostic and acute care services. Our facility received a 5-Star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, indicating "much above average" on their scale and takes into account health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. Our new wing for traditional nursing home patients sets the standard for long term care; and our area for long-term ventilator patients is currently undergoing renovation. * Wound Care: Miller County Wound Care Clinic works with patients and their physician to deliver comprehensive care geared towards management and healing. From basic wound care and debridement to wound vac, our expert providers follow a rigorous protocol and use the latest technology to deliver customized care to each patient. *Swing Bed Services: Designed for patients who need short-term care following an acute hospital stay, our Swing Bed program offers a place to continue recovery when patients have to be discharged from any hospital.
