We are looking for Data Scientist interns who can commit to a minimum of 3 months for our Summer 2026 (May to August) or Fall 2026 term (September to December). This position is based in Science Park, Hong Kong with the opportunity to work in a hybrid arrangement.
As a Data Scientist I, you will:
Use machine learning and advanced statistics to help build innovative solutions for real-life customer and business problems
Transform complex datasets into meaningful conclusions and recommendations
Grow alongside a diverse team of world-class experts in data science, software engineering, actuarial science, business, and design
Collaborate with our teams in HK & Canada to share knowledge, learnings, and tools
Skills required: Python, NLP/LLM
Familiar with our tech stack: scikit-learn, xgboost, pytorch, tensorflow, LightGBM, pandas, etc.,
Here’s what you bring to the table:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, science, engineering, statistics, AI, computer science or a related field.
Available to work with us full-time, 37.5 hours per week, for the Fall 2026 term (September to December).
Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school following your internship.
Relevant experience in predictive modelling, machine learning and advanced statistics solving business problems is an asset
Unlimited curiosity and a passion to challenge the status quo
Ability to focus on vaguely defined issues requiring the application of a creative approach
Excellent communication, organization and a collaborative attitude
Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility;
