About the Role

About Us:

The IT Business Systems team oversees the systems development life cycle (SDLC), encompassing stages such as planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance. To achieve these goals, our team structure is divided into distinct, specialized units.

The Project Management team manages the workflow of new project requests. They handle the intake, approval, and oversight of projects within our management system and project portfolio, ensuring smooth progression from inception to completion.

Our Business Applications team plays a crucial role in elevating our organizational capabilities. They provide support, enhancement, and implementation of new systems, constantly working to advance our technological framework.

The Integration team enables data sharing both within and outside the organization. This ensures the efficient and secure integration of disparate data sources, facilitating improved communication and collaboration across different platforms.

Lastly, the Business Intelligence team is committed to fostering data excellence. They are responsible for developing and applying methodologies that improve data reliability and quality across our organization.

Job Summary:

Provide a unique opportunity to interface and contribute to the development of hospital initiatives in various departments. Specific focus to special projects in assigned area. There is no hands on patient care.

Under close supervision, perform entry level professional duties providing the opportunity for professional training in various departments within the hospital. Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for successful performance. May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports, assist in preparing written reports; filling; accompany professional level employees on assignment. Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the Hospital's organizational structure and services. Utilize Hospital and or department specific software to complete assignments.

Specific activities vary by assignment.

Qualifications:


Education

  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
  • Program Current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate level degree program and have completed at least one semester of classes with a minimum 3.0 GPA. (required)


Work Experience

  • Prior experience in healthcare (preferred)
  • Interest in healthcare (preferred)
