Role title: Communications Intern
Reports to: Senior Brand & Communications Manager
Position Summary
The Communications Intern supports branding, marketing, and event initiatives for Hive Collective. This hands-on role assists with creative production, in-store signage, content updates, photography, and event coordination, ensuring brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with ordering, organizing, and maintaining inventory of branded collateral, including promotional items, packaging, and printed materials.
- Create, format, print, and maintain small in-store signage throughout the Collective.
- Support event planning and execution, including populating Monday.com, organizing vendor information, and assisting on-site during events.
- Assist with creation and updating of Hive Bakery & Cafe menus and maintain current content on digital platforms such as Toast and OpenTable.
- Contribute to print materials, event coordination, photography, and other communications initiatives based on department priorities.
- Help with administrative and project coordination support to ensure marketing initiatives remain organized and on schedule.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed studies in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and hospitality environment.
