We are looking for a curious and motivated intern passionate about software development and cutting-edge AI tools to join our engineering team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on an AI-native software development workflow, leveraging LLMs across the entire engineering lifecycle. You’ll take a crucial part in designing and building an internal data platform to track and analyze the Dolby technology footprint - covering data collection, storage, and dynamic reporting through web applications and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a scalable internal database and backend services to capture Dolby technology usage data
- Build intuitive web interfaces for data visualization, reporting, and team collaboration using modern frameworks
- Implement seamless integrations between internal systems and external tools using APIs and event-driven patterns
- Apply AI-assisted development practices - use LLMs for requirements management, code generation, testing, documentation, refactoring, and debugging
- Set up and maintain QA environments, write automated tests, and ensure high reliability of the system
- Use AI tools to generate and maintain technical documentation in Confluence and manage tasks in Jira
- Explore and prototype AI-driven workflows for requirements analysis, code reviews, and deployment automation
- Collaborate with engineers to gather insights and refine the data model and reporting features
Qualifications
- Familiarity with JavaScript (React.js, Node.js) or Python (Django, FastAPI)
- Familiarity with database design (SQL or NoSQL) and RESTful API development
- Basic understanding of full-stack web development and software engineering principles
- Interest in AI/ML and experience using LLMs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Kiro.dev, or similar) in coding workflows
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright
- Exposure to data visualization libraries (e.g., Chart.js, Plotly, Dash)
- Basic understanding of infrastructure as code or containerization (Docker, Terraform)
