Core Responsibilities
The intern will support the development of next-generation radomes for radar systems and contribute to the integration of full-vehicle simulations within the development pipeline. Additionally, they will participate in design explorations to innovate and further develop radome and radar structures, assisting with prototyping and analysis of new radome designs.

Deshalb geben wir Studierenden bei uns nicht nur die Gelegenheit zum Zuhören, sondern auch zum Mitreden und Weiterdenken.

 

Wir sind ein international und divers aufgestelltes Team mit hoher Expertise und entwickeln Radare und Software für Fahrerassistenzsysteme. Unser Fokus liegt auf der Entwicklung und Integration von funktionalen radartransparenten Design-Abdeckungen, die sich nahtlos in das Gesamtfahrzeug einfügen.

 

Was erwartet dich?

  • Du unterstützt bei der Entwicklung von Radomen der nächsten Generation für Radarsysteme.
  • Außerdem wirkst du mit bei der Integration von Gesamtfahrzeugsimulationen innerhalb der Entwicklungspipeline für Radome.
  • Darüber hinaus trägst du bei zu Design-Explorationen, um Radom- und Radarstrukturen zu innovieren und weiterzuentwickeln.
  • Zudem unterstützt du beim Prototyping und bei der Analyse neuer Radom-Designs.

 

Was bringst du mit?

  • Studium des Maschinenbaus, der Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik oder eines verwandten Fachbereichs.
  • Verständnis der CFD-Grundprinzipien und Erfahrung in deren Anwendung auf reale Probleme (idealerweise mit StarCCM+).
  • Kompetenz in CAD-Software, vorzugsweise Kenntnisse in CATIA V5.
  • Grundkenntnisse im Python- und Java-Scripting sind stark erwünscht.
  • Ausgezeichnete Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und kritisches Denkvermögen.
  • Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch; Kenntnisse der deutschen Sprache sind ein Plus.
