About the Role

Description

Works on discipline specific tasks (i.e. accounting, engineering, marketing) assigned by supervisor. Position is seasonal, with most work occurring during the summer, and aimed at college-level students to develop experience in a specific discipline.

EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes simple engineering calculations and models
  • Prepares presentations
  • Performs research and special studies
  • Data entry
  • Other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS/SKILLS/ABILITIES

This position is technical in nature, working mostly inside of the office completing a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required:

  • Completing repetitive movement on tasks such as using a mouse or keyboard
  • Remain stationary for long periods of time
  • Read, communicate, and document in English
  • Identify color
  • Determine and exchange accurate information
  • Occasionally move about outside of the office
  • Occasionally move or hold objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Eager to learn
  • High school diploma
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
