Our Opportunity

The Crossroads Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Assistant/Intern to join our team and helping support individualized recovery journeys for clients from diverse backgrounds. This is an ideal opportunity for a Graduate Student in Psychology to receive mentorship and guidance from seasoned licensed professionals. We prioritize creating a safe, nurturing environment conducive to healing, and we are thrilled to offer a Psychology Assistant/Internship opportunity for aspiring professionals in the field.

The Invaluable Hands-On Experience You Will Gain:

  • Exposure to a diverse range of clinical cases and therapeutic techniques.
  • Administering of psychological tests, analyzing results, and providing diagnoses.
  • Conducting psychotherapy, behavior therapy, and psychological counseling sessions.
  • Consulting with individuals, programs, and community organizations.
  • Contributing to in-service training sessions.
  • Documenting provided services accurately and in accordance with required standards.

What We Require for this Role:

  • Must be a currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Psychology program; or
  • Must Possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology. 
  • Tuberculosis Skin Test and Influenza (Flu) vaccination within the past year.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
