The IT Support role provides administrative support to the Information Technology team, focusing on updating and cleaning up current data. Additionally, this position offers vacation coverage for Tier One

 support, assisting users with basic technical issues, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth IT operations.


Internship – 8 months contact May – Dec - 2026


How You’ll Add Value

  • Actively contribute to the safety culture, promoting a safe and productive environment 
  • Organize information within applications used across the organization
  • Classify, verify, manage, and store documents electronically and/or in hard copy
  • Accurately track inventory of corporately owned assets, including IT and office equipment
  • Assist with mobile asset data tracking
  • Generate reports based on inventory records, detailing current location, date, and operating versions
  • Assist with Tier One phone support as directed
  • Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries, providing information or escalating as necessary
  • Know when to escalate an issue for immediate response
  • Prepare documentation, reports, presentations, and record data as needed
  • Support the overall process by assisting the IT team with various tasks as required

What You Bring

  • Pursuing a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Information Technology or a relevant field; must be enrolled in or planning to return to school post work term 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including an intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with an eye for detail and the ability to build spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, and graphs
  • Experience with inventory tracking, research, and analysis is an asset

Criteria for position

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (college, university, or technical program)
  • Returning to post-secondary studies after completing the work term
