About the Role

OLED Electronics Engineering CO-OP (Summer) 2026

Overview:

We are a growing Rochester-based global company in the business of manufacturing Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) devices for the lighting, automotive, and display industries. We are seeking co-op students who are looking to gain hands-on experience and learn about OLED Technology. We offer students the opportunity to work in a flexible and energetic environment, learning alongside a fantastic group of innovators. 

The work during a co-op experience will include work dedicated to at least one of the following areas: printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, OLED demonstrator design, assembly, & repair, and writing & debugging OLED demonstration software.

The candidates should finish the co-op block with an enhanced understanding of OLED technology and User Experience in an R&D and production environment.   

Skills You Must Bring:

You are comfortable working independently as well as coordinating with others and your ability to problem solve is a must. You can adapt within a changing and growing company environment and seek out solutions with a positive outlook. You are detail oriented, self-motivated, and willing to work on various projects within different scopes of work.  You must have at least a basic understanding of electronic components and circuit diagrams. You should have familiarity with hand soldering, using common lab tools, 3D CAD, and FDM 3D printing technology. It is a plus if you have used Python and/or embedded C.  

You are working towards a degree in; or your field of study is one of the following areas: Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
