Job Description

Assignment Purpose/Scope

Communicates to management any changes or issues that may impact department or company performance and collaborates with management to achieve resolution. Performs other duties as assigned by management.Assignment Duties

  • Ensure cars complete the entire ATG process on time
  • Drive and steer supplier quality representatives when issues negatively impact product quality
  • Make tactical decisions for urgent issues and manage support groups in problem solving and prevention
  • Perform strategic management to anticipate change
  • Ensure department goals are consistently met and maintain continuous improvement in all measurable areas
  • Update Co-Op manual
  • Create process sheets for the high-speed test track facility
  • Develop an e-learning module for the ATG process

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (preferably Industrial or Mechanical)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience with VLOOKUP, Macros, etc. preferred)
  • Detail-oriented
  • Organized
  • Effective communication skills
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week)
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
  • Work term dates are August 10th – December 11th, 2026
  • Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations
