Summer 2026 Internship: Business Intelligence Analyst
Our organization is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable business strategy. As a member of our Data & Analytics team, you will work at the intersection of technology and business, helping to drive data-informed decision-making across the enterprise.
The BI Intern will assist in the development and maintenance of our data ecosystem. You will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, creating sophisticated visualizations, and providing analytical support to various departments, including Finance, Operations, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Support: Assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from diverse sources into our centralized data warehouse.
- Dashboard Development: Design and deploy interactive, executive-level dashboards using industry-standard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Automate recurring reports to improve operational efficiency and provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into business performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with department leads to define data requirements and translate complex technical findings into concise business recommendations.
Qualifications & Technical Competencies
- The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis.
- Academic Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Proficiency: * Foundational knowledge of SQL (joins, subqueries, and data manipulation). o Experience with data visualization software.
- Familiarity with programming languages for data analysis (e.g., Python or R) is a plus.
- Analytical Skillset: Ability to approach complex problems with a structured, data-driven methodology.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences
