About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

Adient’s internship program is designed to give students hands-on experience in the automotive seating industry.  Finance interns will be assigned to one of our regional or central finance departments and will support financial reporting, analysis, and/or budgeting activities.  The internship is located at our Plymouth, Michigan headquarters.

Typical projects may include:

  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Analyzing cost structures and support program profitability tracking.
  • Working with ERP systems like SAP to extract and analyze financial data.
  • Supporting internal audits and compliance efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and working towards a 4 year bachelors degree (Finance/Business/Engineering)
  • Available to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0. (or foreign equivalent)
  • Previous internship or co-op experience an added plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail, organization skills and follow-up
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
